Scotland midfielder John McGinn has declared that his team has the "mentality and capability" to defy expectations and make history at Euro 2024.
"We're under no illusions about the task ahead of us," said McGinn. "But we believe in ourselves, and we're determined to prove people wrong."
Scotland faces an uphill battle to qualify for the knockout stages, having been drawn into a tough Group A alongside Germany, Hungary, and Portugal.
However, McGinn is confident that his team can pull off an upset and reach the next round.
"We know we're not the favorites," he said. "But we have a lot of quality in our squad, and we're going to fight for every point."
